Construction Project Manager

Build Better Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the construction life cycle for a large development project in Washington, DC. You will work with senior management and act as a point of contact for the client. You will lead the construction project team with several supervisors reporting directly to you. The ideal candidate is an experienced construction project manager and has the ability to work on-site in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of construction project life cycle

• Assist in the development of project plans, including defining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements

• Manage project budget

• Provide timely status reports to stakeholders

• Collaborate with project team members to define project scope, goals, and deliverables

• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, such as status reports, presentations, and project schedules

• Supervises staff, including scheduling, and assigning work, reviewing performance

• Manages other staff through subordinate supervisors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management

• Strong organizational and people management skills

• Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• Construction industry knowledge and ability to read blueprints

• Detail-oriented and strong communication skills

• Experience managing large-scale budgets
